What's not to love? I have looked at this book over and over. Loaned it to my mom and she just loved it. It's now on loan to an 84 yr. young lady who loves flowers, birds and gardening. She was very excited to get started looking and reading. Excellent!
I bought this as a Christmas present for a friend who wants to transform her backyard into a bee, butterfly, and hummingbird sanctuary of sorts. I’ve been helping her include new plants in her yard for a few years now but have reached the depth of my knowledge. So, I bought this and made her a couple of mosaic butterfly puddlers. She keeps talking with me about what she’s read in the book and about her plans for the summer. Needless to say . . . It was a great purchase.
I purchased this book for my daughter who is interested in saving the bees because our gardens are dependent on them. This book has lots of good information, but I am loving it because of the beautiful photographs in it. It is stunning and my daughter has already planted a pollinator garden for the bees which includes milkweed for the butterflies. We have also incorporated bright reds in the garden for the butterflies and the hummingbirds. This is a wonderful book I'm sure you will be happy with.
I liked the information and the lovely pictures. Great for those interested in starting or adding to a pollinator garden to help the hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. Some of the information I already knew, I purchased mainly for the ranges and types of butterflies that I might see and be able to identify.
Bought the Book for a Friends birthday . . . so tempting to keep it for myself.
it is full of large pics page after page, full color. i can't remember if there are full page pics or not. i do remember there being pictures layered. pages are covered with pictures and some text. it is beautiful! bought this as a gift. she sat amazed flipping through the whole book while i looked on.
