My five year old loves this book. This is been his go-to book every night for the last month. Yes, it could do a little better following the George episode "Low High Score" which this book is based off of, but, he's five, and he doesn't care. He loves to count the number of shots it takes for the different characters to get the ball in the hole. It is also an easier read for his age due to being a level 1 reader.The book itself is holding up well even though its been through a lot. It is paperback with a laminate type cover and back. In the center of the book, it does look some fibers from the binding is coming off a bit. But its still holding strong. This book is just as sturdy as the George books we have received from the Scholastic program from his preschool, which have held up well in the last year.
My daughter is in Kindergarten and is getting comfortable with reading on her own- the number of words per page, and complexity of words, is just perfect for her level. In typical George fashion, this is a very sweet book that introduces some very basic (but silly) golf concepts to little kiddos. Great value if looking to supplement your early reader collection!
Bought this for my 4 year old nephews birthday. He's gotten in golf and he loves curious george. perfect paper back for a golf loving kid.
Very cute book for the grandson of an avid golfer. Well constructed, not that usual flimsy paper children's books are made of, with bright pictures. I am sure they will read this more than once.Fast shipping was a bonus.
We got this little book for our 2 1/2 yr. old grandson and he loves it! He is really in to golf and to see a monkey playing mini golf was fun for him.
Read this to my grandson and he really liked it. He likes golf and he isn't three yet. I see a green jacket in the future.
