I felt conned for buying this book. You will learn nothing from this book that you won't learn from airbnb's website or simply being a guest a few times. The front cover says "easily make up to $10,000 month" which I think is a great goal and an achievable goal but the pages therein give no plan for how to get there. Entrepreur Magazine's how to start your own travel hosting business is a much better resource.
We are all looking for ways to earn income these days or even extra income and becoming an airbnb host is a very good way of achieving that. But you can't just go into it blind, you have to know what you want to achieve what people are looking for and how to best market your accommodation. This brilliant book is fantastic at providing a really well thought out, straightforward strategy on how to do just that. It is well set out, extremely weell researched and gives you an informed and thorough guide on how to succeed at this. Very clever.
Super disappointed in what Mark has to offer. This same information can be found in about 10 minutes of research through airbnb's own site. The font is large and there is significant spacing leading me to believe this book should really only be half as thick. Was looking for some additional ways to boost my listings, but This did not provide that. I'd really question if mark has even done Airbnb or is just profiting off of reformatting what Airbnb already provides on their site. Definitely not worth the price.

Pretty much worthless. Obviously a self published "book" written by a amateur. Pages aren't even numbered! If the font wasn't so big and the margins so wide, it could be written on 7 or 8 letter size pages with standard font size and margins. Don't waste your money.
I am currently planning on starting an Air bnb. This book helped a good bit. Had some good things that help you prepare that I would not have otherwise thought of, for example... White sheets. I know, silly but they can be bleached or oxy cleaned after a fun night or just someone who may go to bed dirty. But yeah! Lots of other valuable information. Definitely worth it!
