Not happy overall. I love that it goes through all the different types of analogies thoroughly. However, the point of this book, at least why I ordered it, is to practice. All examples give the answer immediately after the question, even in the practice portion that is strictly questions. Why are the answers not put at the end of the book or at least at the bottom of the page?? The only way to practice is to track down each page with a paper to block the answers or else see the answer while reading the question. If this were fixed, I believe this would be an amazing resource.
Breaks down each category, gives examples. Explains why each sample question is answered.Will edit when I take the test!
The best thing was the breakdown of the categories and the sample questions. Would buy again, but passed with flying colors.
If you like a book explaining general topics but not actually teaching you anything then proceed with your purchase. Like a light cliff notes. You’ll see some topics but you’re screwed if anyone asks you for a detail

Barebone guide, no explanations to questions, only answers.
This MAT Study Guide for 2018-2019 is a great tool. It is not full of fluff or non test materials. It begins with test taking strategies and practice questions right away. There are test practice questions with answers and explanations. I wish there was more content inside of the test prep book. I felt that it offered the bare minimum of content inside for test takers. If there was more content, I would have given this a 5-star rating. Overall, I still recommend it to test takers for extra test practice.
This MAT test booklet says graphs but it didn't have any. The information shown inside was helpful. I just wish there was more content to study inside this booklet.I received this copy from the publisher. This is my voluntary review.
